Amnesty issues EU arms control warning

The new, bigger European Union urgently needs tougher arms export controls, Amnesty International warned in a report out today.

With more than 400 small arms companies spread across 23 of its 25 member states, the EU must step up its efforts to protect human rights and improve its people’s security, says the organisation.
