Photographer among blast victims
A photographer for the Reuters news agency was among those killed in the Chechnya explosion.
Adlan Khasanov, 33, had worked for the agency in Chechnya as a photographer and television cameraman since the late 1990s.
Khasanov was covering celebrations of Victory Day, marking the defeat of the Nazis in the Second World War, when a blast believed to have been caused by a landmine tore through the stands.
âWe are shocked and dismayed at the news of Adlanâs death. He was a fine journalist working with dedication and great courage in often dangerous conditions. He was also a delightful man,â said Reuters editor-in-chief Geert Linnebank.
