Kerry given communion

Democrat presidential hopeful candidate John Kerry received communion from a Catholic priest in Boston, a day after a top Vatican cardinal said politicians who supported abortion rights should be denied the Eucharist.

Kerry took communion during Saturday Mass at the liberal Paulist Centre, where he regularly worships.
