Palestinian rocket his Israeli settlement

A Palestinian rocket exploded in an Israeli settlement in Gaza tonight, injuring three people.

The Magen David Adom rescue service said the rocket hit a house in Nisanit, which is in the north-west corner of the Gaza Strip. The injuries were said to be not serious.

Three ambulances were seen racing to the settlement. Settlers said the rocket set the house on fire, and firefighters put out the blaze.

Earlier, an Israeli was seriously wounded in another rocket attack.

Palestinians frequently fire home made rockets and mortars at the Jewish settlements in Gaza and communities just outside the fence.
