South Koreans go to the polls

South Koreans voted today in tightly contested parliamentary elections that could determine the future of impeached President Roh Moo-hyun.

The nationwide poll has been largely driven by last month’s controversial impeachment of Roh, the country’s first since the Republic of Korea was founded in 1948.
