Police tightened security in Madrid today after an Islamic group, which claimed responsibility for the March 11 train bombings in the capital, threatened to turn Spain into “an inferno”.

Court officials said two new suspects were arrested on Saturday in a Madrid suburb and the Spanish enclave of Ceuta on the Moroccan coast in connection with the March 11 bombings.
