Israelis prepare for Passover

Israeli Jews burned bread in the streets and cleaned their homes today in last-minute preparations for the week-long Passover holiday, overshadowed by high security alerts and spreading poverty.

Police instructed all licensed gun owners to carry weapons during the holiday.
