Bomber dies in Iraq police chief attack

A suicide bomber blew up explosives in his car outside the house of an Iraqi police chief today, killing himself and wounding seven others.

The attack came after the head of a UN team said better security is vital if Iraq wants to hold elections by a January 31 deadline.
