Morocco makes further arrests in blast investigation

Moroccan police have made arrests in the north of the country in connection with the Madrid massacre, a government official said today.

Spanish officials suspect that an Moroccan Islamic extremist group may have ties to the terror attacks.

Jailed Moroccan immigrant Jamal Zougam is the prime suspect in the bombings. Spanish court documents have linked him to members of an al-Qaida cell in Spain.
