Maxine Carr, the ex-fiancée of Soham murderer Ian Huntley, arrived in a British court today to answer allegations of benefit fraud and lying about her qualifications in job applications.

Carr, who is serving a three-year jail sentence for conspiring with Huntley to pervert the course of justice, arrived in a prison van at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court in a high security police operation at 9am.
