Four Russians killed in Chechen clashes

Four Russian servicemen have been killed in the latest clashes with rebels in Chechnya, an official with Chechnya’s Moscow-backed civilian administration said today.

Rebels fired on Russian positions 20 times in the past 24 hours, killing two soldiers and wounding eight others, the official said.
