Gunmen today shot dead two Iraqi journalists who worked for a coalition-funded television station in northeastern Iraq, a spokesman for the station said.

The attack was in the city of Baqouba, northeast of Baghdad, when men in a car opened fire on the journalists’ minibus, said Sanaa al-Daghistani, information director of Diyala TV.
