Pakistani troops kill 24 terror suspects

Pakistani troops killed 24 suspects today in a fierce crackdown on al-Qaida and Taliban fugitives in the rugged tribal regions bordering Afghanistan.

At least eight soldiers were killed and 15 wounded in the fighting, said an army spokesman.
