Police admit Huntley vetting flaws

The vetting of Ian Huntley to become a school caretaker was flawed at every basic stage, Cambridgeshire Chief Constable Tom Lloyd has admitted.

He accepted there were "significant errors" in his force's checking system, each of which could have ended in an unsuitable person working with children.
