Tourists injured in Egyptian coach crash

Thirteen European tourists and their Egyptian guide were injured when their bus overturned near the southern city of Luxor today, police said.

Thirteen European tourists and their Egyptian guide were injured when their bus overturned near the southern city of Luxor today, police said.

The driver lost control of the bus after trying to avoid an oncoming tractor, police said.

Six tourists from Germany, five from Finland and two Britons were injured and were in hospital in Luxor with injuries. Some were later released, the police said.

The bus was en route from the eastern city of Hurghada to Luxor.
