British army translators killed in Iraq

Two Iraqi women working as translators for the British army have been shot dead in the southern Iraqi city of Basra, coalition officials said today.

The two women, sisters, were driving home in a taxi in Basra late last night when gunmen stopped their vehicle and opened fire on them.
