Rape probe footballers' Lawyers 'optimistic'

Lawyers for three Premiership footballers locked up over serious sex assault allegations in Spain were tonight “optimistic” about the outcome of a legal bid to free them, a senior club official said.

Tim Davies, chief executive of Leicester City Football Club, told BBC News the players were “bearing up very well in the circumstances”.
