Bride walks down supermarket aisle to say I do

Dozens of British shoppers paused among the fruit and veg today to watch as a couple who met at a checkout became the first in the UK to marry in a supermarket.

Jill Piggott, 42, and Pete Freeman, 54, married in the clothing department of the Asda store at Monk’s Cross in York.
