Bomb attack on British army in Iraq

A roadside bomb damaged a British army vehicle on patrol in Iraq today, but no one was injured, a UK military spokesman said.

The vehicle was on a routine patrol on the outskirts of southern Basra when the bomb went off in the afternoon, Major Hisham Halawi said.
