Isrealis killed in West Bank shooting

Palestinian gunmen shot and killed two Israelis travelling in a car on a West Bank motorway tonight, an army spokesman said.

The two, a man and a woman, were travelling in a car between the West Bank town of Hebron and the Israeli desert city of Beersheba.

In more than three years of fighting, Palestinian gunmen have routinely targeted Israeli motorists in the West Bank and Gaza.
