Iraqi held in airliner security scare

An Alitalia flight from Venice to Rome was delayed for hours today over security concerns, with police ordering all passengers off the plane minutes before takeoff and inspecting the aircraft with bomb-sniffing dogs.

One man, reported to be an Iraqi, was detained pending further checks.
