Mirror 'blind spots' in cars banned by EC

New rules banning dangerous “blind spots” in rear-view mirrors on cars come into force next year, the European Commission said today.

Technical changes approved by Euro MPs in Strasbourg will mean manufacturers have to increase the field of vision for drivers of cars, buses and lorries.
