Turkey: Building collapse death toll reaches 51

Rescue workers today dug out five more bodies from the wreckage of a collapsed apartment building in Turkey – raising the death toll to 51.

Hopes dimmed of finding more survivors five days after the disaster in Konya, although more than 45 people were believed to be still trapped inside. The collapse was blamed on shoddy construction.
