Bird flu death toll rises to 11

A doctor in Vietnam said another person died of bird flu today, bringing the region’s toll to 11.

The World Health Organisation is also investigating the deaths of two Vietnamese sisters who may have caught the disease through contact with their brother. China said the virus has reached poultry in one of its remotest regions.
