US replaces top inspector in WMD search

The top United States weapons inspector in Iraq is stepping down, it was announced the evening.

David Kay will be succeeded by Charles Duelfer, a veteran of weapons inspections during Saddam Hussein’s regime, Central Intelligence Agency director George Tenet said in Washington.
