Blair and Putin hold phone summit

British Prime Minister Tony Blair and Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed the situation in Iraq and the Mideast crisis in a phone conversation today, the Kremlin said.

A statement from Putin’s press service said the two leaders also discussed the condition and prospects of bilateral relations.
