Gunmen shoot eight in Brooklyn restaurant

Two gunmen opened fire in a New York restaurant, injuring eight people before pistol-whipping a customer and fleeing with cash and jewellery, police said.

The two men had been sitting in the Galaxy Diner in Brooklyn when they got up and started shooting, police and witnesses said.
