A small Russian built airliner crashed as it was about to land in the Uzbekistan capital of Tashkent tonight, killing all 37 people on board.

Interior Ministry officials said the plane was a 52 seater Antonov-24. However Russian news agency, Interfax, reported that the plane was a Yakovlev-40.
