Ten killed in Afghan bomb attack

A powerful bomb exploded in a street in the southern Afghan city of Kandahar today, killing at least 10 people and shattering cars and windows in the area.

The victims all appeared to be Afghan, Deputy Police Chief Salim Khan said.
