France today said it would send accident investigation experts to Egypt following the crash of a charter aircraft with 148 people on board, including 134 French tourists.

The French Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Deputy Foreign Minister Renaud Muselier was heading to Egypt in the afternoon accompanied by experts from the Interior Ministry.
