British embassy in Peru closed after 'threat'

The British Embassy in Peru was shut today, following a reported threat, the British Foreign Office said.

It has not given detailed reasons for the move, but the South American country has been blighted by domestic terror and travellers have also been warned of global terrorism attacks in the region.
