World's largest snake caught

A python that is 49 feet long and weighs 992 pounds has been caught by Indonesian villagers. If confirmed, it is the largest snake ever seen in captivity.

Hundreds of people flocked to see the snake at a primitive zoo in Curugsewu village on the country’s main island of Java, Republika daily reported.
