Briton vows to clear his name in Bahrain

A British man who was jailed for stabbing an American to death in Bahrain told today of his plans to return to the country to clear his name.

Richard Mechan, 38, of Gloucester, served three years and eight months for the manslaughter of 31-year-old Marshall Earl Emmons in January 2000.
