191 dead in gas well disaster

At least 191 people were killed by toxic fumes from a burst gas well in China, the country’s official news agency said today.

The well blew out on Tuesday night at a gas field in Kaixian County on the outskirts of the city of Chongqing, Xinhua news agency said.
