Al Gore's son hit with dope charge
The son of former US vice president Al Gore has been charged with possessing marijuana.
Albert Gore III, 21, was arrested in a Washington suburb after he was stopped for driving a vehicle without its headlights on.
Two passengers were also arrested and charged with marijuana possession.
Police noticed the car’s windows and sunroof were open, despite cold temperatures. There was also a smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle, according to the police department.
