Fury as price of Aids drug soars 400%

A storm of protest has erupted in the US over a company’s decision to increase the US price of an important Aids drug more than fourfold.

Abbott Laboratories has defended the move, saying the treatment value and the cost of improving the drug’s formulation has increased sharply.
