Monaco's Rainier recovering after illness

Prince Rainier of Monaco, who was admitted to hospital three days ago with flu symptoms, is recovering and may be home for Christmas, the palace said today.

The prince, 80, has been in a heart and chest clinic in the principality since Tuesday afternoon .
