Sex abuse charges against pop star Michael Jackson are driven solely by money and revenge, his lawyer claimed.

Jackson was last night formally charged with repeatedly molesting a cancer-stricken boy invited to his Neverland Ranch, setting the stage for what could become one of the most sensational celebrity cases of all time.
