Sharon says Israel will cut off Palestinians

Prime Minister Ariel Sharon warned tonight that Israel will cut itself off from Palestinians, using a contentious security barrier as part of a makeshift border if they do not make moves toward peace within a few months,

He said his plan would involve relocating some Jewish settlements to provide Israel with the best border for defence.
