Saddam was 'resigned to his fate'

The commander of coalition forces in Iraq says Saddam Hussein is a "tired man resigned to his fate".

US troops taking part in the raid were not certain at first they had captured the former leader when they pulled a bearded man from a hole in a Iraq cellar.
