Car bomb at police station kills up to 18

A car bomb exploded this morning at a police station in this town west of Baghdad, killing 12 people and wounding 19 more, Iraqi police said.

But an A&E administrator at a hospital in the nearby city of Ramadi said there were 18 people killed in the blast and more than 20 injured. Many of the victims were police officers, said the hospital administrator, Haitham Bahar Taha.
