Italian government rejects Divine reference

Christian advocates have been told there is little chance of a change to the draft EU constitution to include a Divine reference.

Despite collecting 50 million signatures throughout the EU in favour of the proposal, the idea has been rejected by the Italian government, which is due to chair this weekend's Inter Governmental Conference.
