Bomb blast injures 31 US soldiers in Iraq

Thirty-one US soldiers were hurt today when a car bomb exploded at the entrance to an army base near Mosul.

According to reports, soldiers at the base in Tal Afar in northern Iraq fired on the vehicle when it failed to stop.
