24 injured in Haiti student protest

Supporters of President Jean-Bertrand Aristide blocked a demonstration by Haitian university students and rampaging crowds left at least 24 people injured, including two top university officials.

Police separated dozens of government supporters from about 100 students at the State University of Haiti in Port-au-Prince who called a protest to demand that Aristide resign.
