Blind students forge the way for the disabled
Three 20-year-old men are being hailed as trailblazers in Cambodia after becoming the first blind students to pass the national exams for high school.
Ahead of the United Nations International Day of Disabled Persons, they have become an inspiration for the disabled – long marginalised by the pressing problems of rebuilding a nation ravaged by war and the genocide of the former Khmer Rouge regime.
