Huntley 'a nervous wreck after girls vanished'

Maxine Carr told how her lover became a “nervous wreck” in the days after schoolgirls Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman vanished, the Old Bailey heard today.

Carr appeared to accept that Huntley was not the man she had once known when she returned from Grimsby after the 10-year-olds had disappeared.
