Nine-year-old delivers baby brother
A nine-year-old British girl has told how she delivered her baby brother in the bathroom after her mother went into unexpected labour.
Jodie Coupland said she was woken by mother Bev who began having regular contractions in the early hours of the morning. With no time to get to hospital the youngster followed instructions from a 999 operator after 30-year-old Ms Coupland only made it as far as the bathroom in their home near York.
