British Prime Minister Tony Blair and French President Jacques Chirac today declared their determination to combat international terrorism in the aftermath of the suicide bomb attacks on British targets in Istanbul.

Concluding an Anglo-French summit in London, Mr Blair – standing next to the French leader – told a news conference at Lancaster House they had agreed on the need to combat the scourge of terrorism at every level.
