Phil Spector accused of woman's murder
Record producer Phil Spector was today charged with the murder of a woman shot at his home last February.
Spector, the 1960s recording-studio wizard who created the ”Wall of Sound” and worked with such groups as the Beatles and the Ronettes, was expected to be formally accused later today.
He has been free on bail of $1m (€839,702) since shortly after the shooting on February 3.
