Carr sobbed as she looked in car boot - witness

Maxine Carr was seen sobbing as she looked in to the boot of Ian Huntley’s car, two days after schoolgirls Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman vanished, the Old Bailey heard today.

Huntley, who denies the 10-year-olds’ murders, was “pale, shaking” and “didn’t look very good at all”, witness Marion Clift told the trial.
